The ultimate goal of ALIGNED is to improve the environmental performance of Bio-Based industrial processes in five sectors. This goal will be achieved by delivering on three specific objectives that form the basis of ALIGNED:

1. Improve, harmonize, and align LCA methodology for the assessment of bio-based.
2. Demonstrate the power of the methodology to improve the environmental performance of five specific biobased technologies.
3. Inform, involve, and empower all relevant stakeholders, enabling an efficient methodological uptake.
