After two years of collaboration, the ALIGNED consortium came together for a pivotal project meeting in Lisbon, Portugal, on October 12 and 13. Hosted by Algae for Future (A4F), the two-day gathering marked a significant moment to reflect on the progress made and outline the next steps towards our shared goals.
Partners engaged in constructive discussions, evaluating key project outcomes and defining strategies for the next phase. The meeting covered several important areas, including updates on Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and their impact on sustainability within the targeted bio-based industries: construction, woodworking, textile, pulp and paper, and bio-chemicals.
A focus was placed on efforts and planning upcoming events. The partners also visit to ALGATEC Eco Business Park, the largest microalgae production platform in Europe, reserved for companies and projects in the algae and microalgae sector. A great way to wrap up two days of discussions, ongoing progress, and already getting ready for the next milestones.
